Chevron congratulates Annika Ernstrom for winning the 2021 Delo® Tractor Restoration Competition! Annika is only the 2nd solo female in the program’s history to become Grand Champion. Annika was a finalist last year as a duo with her friend Elise Evers. She was so passionate with her thirst for knowledge during that competition and she still has that same enthusiasm. She is from San Luis Obispo, California and competed in the JB Dewar’s Tractor Restoration Education Program the past 2 years. (JB Dewar is also a Chevron marketer.)
Annika recently graduated from high school and is attending Cuesta College. She plans to become a Master Tech. She already has others in her community hiring her to restore their tractors. In her spare time, she has also started a business, Wild Child Creations, for photography, art, digital design, and she makes jewelry from old tractor parts and bullet shells.
Make sure your Marketers know that those who promote and support the competition in their area will want to order free 2022 Delo TRC calendars for nearby participants to use as fundraisers. Orders can be made in sets of 50 through this online request form. Requests should be limited to 100 per Marketer.
The 2022 calendars feature all the 2021 Delo TRC finalist teams. The calendars are offered at no cost to the teams who will be working on a 2022 project. Teams may set the price of their calendars to sell in their community in order to offset restoration costs.
