Make sure your customers are aware of the following important grease product sunsets outlined in the chart below. The color, viscosities and thickener types of each sunsetting and replacement product can be found on a more detailed chart, linked here.
Havoline® PRO-DS® Full Synthetic 0W-20 & 5W-30 Meet dexos1® Gen 3
Near the end of 2021, the Havoline® PRO-DS® Full Synthetic product data sheet was updated to include GM’s dexos1® Gen 3 license numbers for the 0W-20 and 5W-30 viscosities. The following performance claims were also added:

Transition Customers to Taro Ultra
Please be aware Chevron is sunsetting its line of Taro® Special HT products (55, 70, LS 40). Inventory will only be available while supplies last. Please encourage your customers to transition to Taro Ultra.
January Salesfax Digests Now on Marketing Hub
The January 2022 Product Salesfax Digests (English, French and Spanish) are now available to download from the Marketing Hub! Once you’re in the Hub, simply type ‘Salesfax’ into the search bar to bring them up. Make sure you and your Marketers have all the updates that took place from October 2021 – January 2022.

The Havoline® PRO-RS™ Rebate promotion is underway!
The buy-in period runs from Jan 1 – March 31, 2022, and enrolled U.S. Marketers earn $3.00 USD per gallon rebate for every gallon of qualifying Havoline PRO-RS purchased during that time.
New Volvo and Mack Engine Oil Technical Bulletin
A new Technical Bulletin on Volvo’s VDS-5 and Mack’s EOS-5 oil specifications is posted to the Marketing Hub. VDS-5 and EOS-5 quality oils are only suitable for 2021 GHG and newer fuel-efficient Mack MP 8 or Volvo D13 engine builds.
It’s important to note that oils meeting this specification are not backwards compatible in older engines.
