Updated SMARTFill® Lube Room Chart

By May 26, 2023No Comments

Make sure your customers know that the SMARTFill® Lube Room Chart has been updated to reflect the recent changes to Chevron’s grease portfolio.

The chart is designed to be tailored to the end customer so they can ensure the correct Chevron lubricant is used in the right place at their specific location. Because of this, make sure your Marketers understand that the file on Marketing Hub is a template only, and should not be shared outright.

The simple and easy-to-use, icon-based, color-coding identification system improves and simplifies product handling. TIP: Add contact information at the bottom, such as “Call this # to Re-order.”

SMARTFill labels can be ordered through the Merchandise Center. Follow the directions linked at the bottom of this page for requesting a new product label. Please note, there is a different Tip Sheet for Marketers to follow when requesting new product labels as they too may request label additions in CBP/mPower. We will send them a copy via LubeLink and our other marketing emails.

The Lube Room Chart Template contains key information such as shelf life, product name, SmartFill coding as well as some customizable fields like the ISO 4406 cleanliness on new oil delivered or their own internal part number (remove anything that is not of value or make additions to the sheet that are important to the end user). When lubricants are properly identified and stored in their designated area, customers improve their fluid handling program and reduce incorrect top off within equipment.

The SMARTFill® Pitch Deck we premiered earlier this year highlights the value of adopting a professional lubricant labeling program and a lube room chart. It’s designed to use during Phase IV Implementation and Phase V Retention efforts.

You can find more helpful information in the Chevron Lube Matters article regarding lube charts.
