Today, November 1st, Chevron is announcing the launch of an exciting new product: Havoline\u00ae<\/sup> PRO-RS™ Renewable Full Synthetic Motor Oil. The top-tier entry in the Havoline passenger car product line, Havoline PRO-RS is made with 25% sustainably sourced plant-based oils, advancing Chevron\u2019s objectives to help advance a lower carbon future and answering the growing market demand for more environmentally friendly products.<\/p>\n

Havoline PRO-RS is Chevron\u2019s first renewable motor oil, formulated with our proprietary ECOSTRENGTH™ Technology, a process that uses renewable plant-based feedstocks that typically do not have any of the impurities found in traditional base oils derived from crude petroleum. Besides meeting all the performance attributes of a premium full synthetic motor oil, including cleaning power and wear protection, Havoline PRO-RS offers the benefits of emission control and lower carbon intensity1<\/sup> than a comparable full synthetic motor oil. It also delivers superior fuel economy retention2<\/sup> to help save on fuel costs compared to other petroleum-based full synthetic motor oils. <\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, Havoline PRO-RS is a USDA Certified Biobased Product. For all these reasons, we are positioning Havoline PRO-RS as the \u201cbest\u201d product in the Havoline passenger car line \u2013 better for cars and better for the environment3<\/sup>. <\/p>\n
