The SMARTFill® Label Program is designed to ensure the correct Chevron lubricant is used in the right piece of equipment and in the proper location. The simple and easy-to-use, icon-based, color-coding identification system helps increase operating efficiency and helps eliminate room for error by using incorrect products.
The labels are easy to use and include the following benefits:
- Improved label design to accommodate more products
- ISOCLEAN® product decals are available for ISOCLEAN Certified Lubricants (for ISOCLEAN Marketers only)
- Labels are tri-lingual (English, Spanish and French)
- The SMARTFill program is available to our Canadian Marketers
- Small fill point/equipment labels are $1 each and the larger bulk tank labels are available for $2 each
- No minimum order required
- If a SMARTFill label doesn’t currently exist for a product, Chevron Sales and Chevron Marketers are now able to request a new product label through mPower (see below for further details)
Customers can order SMARTFill labels through Marketing Hub. There is a quick-link icon/button on the ‘Additional Resources’ page, which will redirect users to the Chevron Merchandise Center in the U.S. or SupportNet in Canada.
Follow the directions linked below for requesting a new product label. And please be aware there is a different process for Marketers to follow when requesting new product labels. We will send them a copy via LubeLink and our other marketing emails.
And don’t forget that the SMARTFill® Program Deck is a great tool to highlight the value of adopting a professional lubricant labeling program and a lube room chart. It’s designed to use during Phase IV Implementation and Phase V Retention efforts.
In addition, new products have been added to the Lube Room Chart, linked here and uploaded to Marketing Hub. Encourage your customers to download and customize their own copy. The chart requires refinement and the file on Marketing Hub is a template only. Do not share this outright. It is designed to be tailored to the end customer so they can ensure the correct Chevron lubricant is used in the right place at their specific location. The simple and easy-to-use, icon-based, color-coding identification system improves and simplifies product handling. TIP: Add contact information at the bottom, such as “Call this # to Re-order.”
This chart contains key data such as shelf life, product name, SmartFill coding as well as some customizable fields like the ISO 4406 cleanliness on new oil delivered or their own internal part number. When lubricants are properly identified and stored in their designated area, customers improve their overall program.
