The 2021 1st Source program is designed to drive the growth that will result in the mutual success of both Chevron and its Marketers. Below are some of the changes to the 2021 U.S. program:
- Resetting the Base Year to 2019 and we’ll work our way back to those levels over time
- We are adding an incentive for Delo® 600 sales
- We are also enhancing our Value Based Selling goals to:
- Emphasize team selling to activate the many new Chevron BDS’s
- Support retention with account planning support and resources
- Minimum volume requirement metrics
- Set 2021 goals at 95% of Base Yr for LM Paper and Premium Products; 95% ELC
- Replace Marketer Minimum Volume payout category with Delo 600 purchase minimum of 10k gals – we are leaving Min volume as a requirement with same thresholds as 2019 program
- The date for 1st Source and 1st Source Elite Marketers to complete the Rebate and MSA automation has been extended to 2021. In order to retain 1st Source status, Marketers must be enrolled and participating in Accelerate in 2021.
What’s staying the same:
- Continued focus on incentivized growth, including Delo 600, ISOCLEAN and other premium products
- Team Selling, leveraging the Challenger Selling approach, is key and as such we are keeping our Acceleration program and expanding participation requirements to all 1st Source Marketers
- We are continuing our focus on efficiency improvements with Rebate and MSA integration and are targeting completion in 2021
- We are maintaining our Alignment Incentive
- We are keeping Max and Max+ rates the same
