For industry compliance purposes, Chevron requires our official bulk/drum labels to be used for PCMO bulk tanks. Each Chevron Lubrication Marketer has a Label Catalog in the Custom Point Drum and Pail System. In their catalog are bulk tank labels, which are designated as 990 package style. It is the Marketer’s responsibility to print, provide, and install PCMO bulk tank labels.
Aside from the PCMO bulk tanks themselves, at many quick lube shops there are overhead reels and ground level consoles with handheld hoses that pump oil directly from bulk tanks. Each hose must identify what product is being pumped. For this we offer industry standard decals for all bulk products, available to everyone on the Chevron Merchandise Site. Reals and consoles must have current decals that identify the brand and correct product name.
Smartfill® labels are only for field applications and will not be approved for PCMO professional installers.
