Please ensure your customers know that for the Havoline® motor oil products listed below, we adjusted the formulation in our plants to the 35EX version, which carries a different dexos1® Gen2 license number than the current Paratone version. In order to remain in compliance with GM for future productions, our labels must reflect the 35EX dexos license number (as opposed to Paratone). The new 35EX license numbers are listed below for the following products and viscosity grades:
- Havoline PRO-DS High Mileage FS 0W-20: D135BNCG089
- Havoline PRO-DS High Mileage FS 5W-30: D135AUCG089
- Havoline Synthetic Technology 0W-20: D135BOCG089
- Havoline Synthetic Technology 5W-30: D135AVCG089
- Havoline Lifelong 0W-20: D135BQCG089
- Havoline Lifelong 5W-30: D135AXCG089
As a result, we have included the addition of NEW (35EX) to the Custom Point Catalog Description of these products. This means that when your customers place orders, they will temporarily see two label options. When they order from the plants, they should confirm which product they are ordering (Paratone or 35EX) and print the corresponding label if they are repackaging to drums or pails.
