In Spring 2023, Chevron will be simplifying our grease line to make the ordering process easier for our Marketers and our customers. The new names will align with thickener types. This means that there will be a new calcium sulfonate product line. Packaging and labels will change. We will try to minimize SKU changes.
A timeline of what to expect:
Week of Nov 14: We will send an email to customers letting them know changes are coming in 2023. We will also post banners on the grease page of ChevronLubricants.com to let customers know to expect future communications about changes.
We will post a similar message on social media, and create a newsletter for interested parties who may not already be customers to sign up and receive updates. These assets can also be used to communicate with customers.
January 24-25: We’ll have a full presentation on the changes at Momentum in January.
February: Chevron will host a webinar to reveal the full line and review all changes.
March 14: We’ll unveil new cartridge packaging and labels publicly for the first time at ConExpo.
March 31: New names and packages officially available. New pages on ChevronLubricants.com, including a product selector and a cheat sheet of old vs new names. New content available, press release sent to media.
