Enrollment is now open to Havoline® professional installers for our first Do-It-For-Me consumer offer this year.
Below are some important points that are not covered in the promotional flyer:
- This is an opportunity for you to gain new item distribution, to grow your sales and NOI
- In order for consumers to get the offer, shop owners need to stock the qualifying products. Shop owners can’t sell them if our Chevron LMs are not bringing the featured products to them. Now is the time for Chevron LMs to bring Chevron’s featured products into their warehouses to get them into customer shops in January/February, in time for a March 1 promotion start date. Specifically:
- Havoline PRO-DS® High Mileage Full Synthetic (drums, PitPack®, quarts @ CLP, PALP, RLP)
- Techron® Complete Fuel System Cleaner (20oz)
- Techron Diesel (20oz)
- Delo® 400 XPS Synthetic and Delo 400 XLE SynBlend
- If you or your Chevron LMs are enrolling customers, please make the extra effort in January/February to make sure the accounts you enrolled are fully aware and prepared to execute the promotion at their store(s) starting March 1.
Recipe to successful promotion execution:
- Top down communication: BC/LM→ customer, owner→ staff
- Establish employee rewards or incentives, set goals
- Advertise the offer off-site to attract new customers (using the free digital assets)
- Make every customer or guest aware of the promotional offer during the greeting (moving consumers up the product line is where the win is for business owners)
- Monitor and report progress against the goals
- Staple the promotion claim form to the customer’s service receipt
We will be offering a secondary enrollment date, intended to pick up new-to-Chevron, Havoline installer accounts that come on after the February 5th enrollment deadline. POP kits for installers enrolling after the initial February 5, 2021 deadline will be shipped out quickly after enrollment. The May 31, 2021 promotion end date will not be extended for those who enroll in the secondary enrollment period. Chevron will offer another DIFM promotion later in 2021. We are not offering a separate new account rebate promotion this year considering the very low participation results of similar promotions executed in 2019 and 2020.
