Please be aware that Chevron’s Canopus® 13 & 68, and Journaltex® HD 57 are now under our Regal® brand of lubricants, and as a result have undergone a name change.
You can see the official name changes in the table below.
Regal HH 13 and 68 are uninhibited oils (HH), which means they are base oils with no additive package. These provide basic lubrication, and are designed for use as industrial circulating oils. Regal HD 57 is designed for use in lubricating locomotive traction motor suspension bearings and plain railcar journal bearings.
The name changes allow for simplification around Chevron’s supply chain efficiency. Our Global strategy is to associate the Regal brand name with the application for which it is best suited for, which is circulating systems.
